We would like to inform the community that ambulance service rates will be increasing effective 7/1/2026.

This adjustment is necessary to help support the continued delivery of reliable emergency medical services, including maintaining ambulance equipment, staffing highly trained emergency medical personnel, meeting operational costs, and ensuring we can continue providing the level of care our residents depend on.

The Freeport Rural Fire Protection District remains committed to delivering prompt, professional, and compassionate emergency medical services to our community. We understand that changes in service fees impact residents and patients, and we have worked to ensure that rates remain aligned with the costs associated with providing quality ambulance services.

Effective rates will be as follows:

Public Assist - $250

BLS - $2,100

ALS - $2,400
